Removable laser labels are specialized labels, generally die cut on 8.5″ x 11″ sheets.
They have strong adhesive that does not fall off under normal circumstances, but if you want to peel off the label, it will come off relatively easy, without leaving any adhesive marks. Due to this property, they are called removable labels.
There are numerous types of labels in all shapes, sizes, colors or from different materials, suitable for various applications. Removable laser labels are made from a nonporous stock material, specifically designed to withstand the intense heat produced by laser printers and copiers.
Using removable laser labels provides numerous advantages, and can save you a lot of time and money. Especially if you have to send out tons of mail on a regular basis, writing all addresses and names by hand is time-consuming, not to mention frustrating. Whether it’s personal or business correspondence, self-adhesing labels are a great solution to escape all that hassle. And if you find removable laser labels rather pretentious, they are actually very easy to create and extremely practical.
With removable laser labels you can put all that time and energy into something else, while your laser printer will handle the rest. All you need is a computer, Microsoft Word, self- adhesive, removable labels, and of course, a laser printer. Simply load up your printer with a bunch of removable laser labels, but be careful: before you start printing, make sure that the labels are placed with the right side up, so the printer can load them properly.
Once you’ve loaded the printer with the removable laser labels, go to Microsoft Word. Click on the Tools menu, and then select either “Labels” or “Letters and Mailings”, depending on what version of Word you have installed. Then click on “Options”, choose your printer type, label product and product number in the respective fields, and click “OK” when you’re done. In the empty field, type in the address you want to put on the labels. You can customize the font style or size or copy/paste directly from another source instead of typing new text. After typing the address you want to appear on your removable laser labels, select to print a whole page of a single label. Once you click “OK”, you’ll see a new Word document with the labels. Check them for errors, and if they’re ok approve them and print the page. If you find some mistakes, you can edit the text just as in any regular Word document. Make the necessary modifications, then print the page.

It’s actually not complicated at all, but it is a very convenient alternative. And the applications are not limited just to correspondence. You can use removable laser labels for a lot of other things, such as CD labels, jar labels or any other thing you want to put a label on. Why waste valuable time writing everything by hand, when you can simply use a printer? And because removable laser labels have a special type of adhesive, you can peel them off anytime, without leaving any kind of adhesive mark on the surface.
